Upon joining Northbrook College in the second year of the Stage Management and Technical Theatre BA, I was given the task of being production stage manager for the combined BA Musical Theatre choreographic showcase and BA Dance narrative devised piece.

This was a great challenge, as I had been at Northbrook for only two weeks and was unfamiliar with it as a venue when I took on the role. I found co-ordination and paperwork to be my greatest strengths when it came to the newfound area of production management, and it was on this show that I fell in love with production management and the higher echelons of management and co-ordination positions.
