The Unwritten Showcase was created to best demonstrate the varying skills of the musical theatre students and dancers of Northbrook College, with the hope that agents and the like would be able to glean a picture of the full breadth of their capabilities from this performance. We took the showcase to the Eastbourne Hippodrome for two days, which involved liaising with the team at the Hippodrome in order to provide our team with information as to the positions of lighting fixtures, the technical specifications of their rig, and the capabilities of their AV system.

Throughout the process, I balanced prop sourcing and attending rehearsals with organising production meetings and rushing through costume orders. At the venue, I managed the cast of 15 and a litany of props, while keeping notes on the various issues we were facing so I could consult the duty technicians in good time.
